As a pretty low-maintanence person, I'm just not sure what my roommate actually does in the bathroom. She usually spends about 20 minutes. I hear a lot of water splashing (and sometimes there's a lot of water on the floor, which she blamed on leaky pipes, but an examination of the laws of physics revealed that said pipe would have to be spraying massive amounts of water for the water to be where it is). Sometimes she does a bunch of stuff in there, comes out, and goes back in for another 5-10 minutes. What is she doing in there? I think she may be washing her face with several different face washes, but I'm not sure.
Two connected issues are toliet paper usage and trast overflowing-ness. I don't really throw out anything in the bathroom trash, so it's basically all hers. Here is some photographic evidence:
Note the 3 empty rolls of toilet paper and massive mountain of toilet paper on top. Nose blowing with TP is legit, but we have tissues, so what is going on here?
She has also clogged up the toilet twice with her toilet paper, but insisted that it could not be her fault because she "just peed."
Some thoughts:
A. I'm pretty sure that the way that toilets work is that if you do something in it and flush it, and the water doesn't go down, whatever you put in the toilet is responsible for that.
B. If you are using so much toilet paper that you clog the toilet that is a major problem.
C. Just fricking admit that you clogged it. I've clogged the toilet before. It happens, we're all human. But being an adult, I own up to my clogging and fix it myself, instead of just leaving it there or making my roommate do it.
A new interesting habit is apparently not flushing the toilet at night, which although environmentally friendly, grosses me out in the morning. I believe that both roommates need to be in agreement on a "If it's yellow, let it mellow" policy.
